Galway's weekend market is known for fresh produce, local vendors, and colorful displays. During a recent visit, one enormous cabbage stopped me in my tracks and made for a memorable photo.

Even the boys enjoyed it! And they have ruined their share of tea parties in their time. I never expected my grown sons to enjoy high tea at an Irish castle, but our afternoon at Ashford Castle surprised all of us. Between the tea, pastries, gardens, and falconry, it became one of our favorite family experiences in Ireland.
