Starting at $4999

This new tour takes you to places in Ireland not typically visited on other tours. It's farther than you think to get out the Dingle Peninsula. That's why I am starting this tour from Shannon Airport instead of Dublin. We’ll start at the Carrigerry Guest House which is not far from the Shannon Airport, and make our way through Kilkee and take a ferry to the Dingle Peninsula. We’ll see the Loophead Lighthouse and the Kilbaha Art Gallery, which focuses on artists with ties to Ireland. We’ll go to Inch Beach, known for it’s surfing, visit the pubs in Dingle and spend time at Dunquin, which offers spectacular views. Then we’ll head to Killarney to see Muck Ross House and tour the gardens by horse-drawn carriage. And before we are done we’ll go to Ireland’s only Water Buffalo Farm.

This tour is 10 days and 9 nights. It includes entry to all events listed, all hotels, breakfasts and 4 dinner events. Airfare and alcohol are not included. The price is $4999. per person, double occupancy.

A $500 deposit holds your spot. The balance for this tour is due

Tour Overview:

The Dingle Peninsula is quite a drive from Dublin. By starting at the Shannon airport we are more than halfway there. We’ll make a stop in Kilkee for the cliff walk there, the Loop Head Lighthouse and gthe Kilbaha Gallery and take a ferry to the peninsula. Inch Beach is known for it’s surfing and you can walk for miles watching. Dingle is a bustling town. Lots of touristy shops. But they also have the most unique pubs I’ ve ev er seen. One is a hardware store on one side and a pub on the other. There is a Dingle Distillery and Murphy’s Ice Cream is made there. But not far outside of Dingle is the magic of beehive huts built by monks back in the 12th century, the Gallarus Oratory and the spectacular peace at Dunquin. On our way back we’ll see the grand old Muck Ross House in Killarney.

Tour Highlights:

  • This tour is really more for those who have already seen Dublin and the main landmarks of Ireland and want to dig in to rural life, ancient history and spectacular views the big box tours can’t even get to. (their coaches are too big)

  • It includes Kilkea, which is a very small village with an amazing beach, a light house, and a cliff walk as spectacular as the Cliffs of Moher….without the crowds.

  • From Dunquin, you honestly feel like you are looking into the past, to the same sights the Irish of history looked at years ago.

  • We get to take a ferry

  • The pubs in Dingle are unlike any you’ll find in the big cities…like Dublin and even Galway.
