Wild Atlantic Way Small-Group Tour Fall 2026

Two nights in Dublin is enough to see the landmarks and the museums. Then it's off to Galway by train to see the Wild Atlantic Way. From Galway's Saturday Market to Galway Bay, and from the Cliffs of Moher to Ennis, Cork and Cobh, there is so much to see! We'll take a Royal Hawk Walk, enjoy High Tea, hear the trad sessions in Ennis, and visit Ireland's Donkey Sanctuary and kiss the Blarney Stone before heading to the beautiful village of Cobh. This tour is 11 days and 10 nights and the price is $4999. A $500 deposit holds your spot. Balance for this tour is due at the end of February.

Tour Overview:

This is a tour that takes us from Dublin through Galway down the Wild Atlantic Way. We’ll take a train across the country from Dublin, which is a wonderful way to see the country in between. After a few days in Galway we’ll head south along the coast. We’ll stay in a castle, take a Royal Hawk Walk, enjoy High Tea, se the Cliffs of Moher and visit the donkeys in Liscarroll, enroute to the beautiful village of Cobh. It will take us 11 days and 10 nights and is worth every minute. This tour also includes 4 dinner experiences you’ll never forget.

Tour Highlights:

  • See the museums and landmarks of Dublin

  • Take a train ride across the country (It’s way better than taking a bus!)

  • Experience the falcons and High Tea at Dromoland Castle

  • Spend a night in Abbeyglen Castle.

  • Meet the donkeys at Ireland’s Donkey Sanctuary & the Water Buffalo in Macroom

  • Experience Blarney Castle and the English Market in Cork

What’s Included:

  • Transportation once you arrive at the hotel in Dublin (including trains and a private coach)

  • Four dinner experiences and High Tea at a castle

  • Hotels for 10 nights

  • Breakfast every morning

  • Entry to all activities and events listed.

Itinerary:

  • Day 1: You arrive and make your way to Wynn’s Hotel in downtown Dublin. We’ll all meet for dinner at the Church Restaurant.

  • Day 2: Everyone can tour Dublin on the Hop-on Hop-off bus and then meet up for an arranged tour of the Guinness Storehouse.

  • Day 3: We’ll experience Ireland’s rail system as we make our way to Galway City. (It’s a 2 and a half hour ride)

  • Day 4: Galway’s Saturday Market is known for its crafts, produce, artisans and street food. And then you will have the afternoon free to explore the city.

  • Day 5: We’ll see a lot today! After meeting Joe Joyce and seeing his sheepdogs in action, in Connemara, we’ll tour the Wool Center nearby. Then on to the historic Kylemore Abbey. And we’ll end up at Abbeyglen Castle for the night.

  • Day 6: More castle time today. We’ll take a Royal Halk Walk and have High Tea at Dromoland Castle and then drive to the Cliffs of Moher to walk off the pastries. And we’ll spend the night at the Carrigerry Guest House.

  • Day 7: Heading south, our next stop is those fuzzy-faced donkeys at Ireland’s National Donkey Sanctuary. Then a tour of Johnny Lynch’s Water Buffalo Farm which includes tasting the buffalo cheese for which they are famous. We’ll end up in Blarney Village for the night.

  • Day 8: Since we’ll be within walking distance…we can be first in to the grounds of the Blarney Castle. Then we’ll lunch at Cork’s English Market before heading to the Village of Cobh on the sea.

  • Day 9: You can enjoy a day to yourselves to explore Cobh. There’s so much to see including museums, a wonderful Cathedral, colorful landscapes and their Heritage Center. But we’ll take a drive to Kildare in the evening to stay in the town of Kildare.

  • Day 10: We’ll make our way back to Dublin for a farewell dinner and a night at The Grand Hotel in Malahide so you are close to the Dublin Airport for tomorrow morning’s departures.

  • Day 11: Fly home.
