Two nights in Dublin is enough to see the landmarks and the museums. Then it's off to Galway, by train, to see the Wild Atlantic Way. From Galway's Saturday Market to the Cliffs of Moher; the Coherconnell Stone Fort, Ireland’s only Water Buffalo Farm, and so much more. We'll take a Royal Hawk Walk, enjoy High Tea, hear the trad sessions in Ennis, and visit the seaside village of Cobh.

This tour costs $4999 and runs 11 days and 10 nights. It includes accommodations and breakfast daily, 4 dinner experiences plus High Tea. A $500 deposit holds your spot.

Tour Overview:

This is a tour that takes us from Dublin through Galway down the Wild Atlantic Way. We’ll take a train across from Dublin, to Galway, which is a wonderful way to see the country in between. After a few days in Galway we’ll head south along the coast. We’ll stay in an Irish Guesthouse, take a Royal Hawk Walk, enjoy High Tea, at a castle, hike the Cliffs of Moher, visit the donkeys in Liscarroll, eand stay in the beautiful seaside Village of Cobh. It will take us 11 days and 10 nights and is worth every minute. This tour also includes 4 dinner experiences you’ll never forget.

Tour Highlights:

  • Transportation once you arrive at the hotel in Dublin (including trains and a private coach)

Itinerary:

  • Day 1: You arrive and make your way to Wynn’s Hotel in downtown Dublin. I’ll meet you there and we’ll head to dinner at the Church Restaurant.

  • Day 2: Everyone can tour Dublin on the Hop-on Hop-off bus and then meet up for an arranged tour of the Guinness Storehouse

  • Day 3: We’ll experience Ireland’s rail system as we make our way to Galway City.

  • Day 4: Galway’s Saturday Market is known for its crafts and its produce. And then you will have the afternoon free to explore the city.

  • Day 5: We’ll see a lot today! Including the Caherconnell Stone Fort, sheepdogs in action and the Cliffs of Moher.

  • Day 6: This is a castle kind of day! We’ll take a Royal Hawk Walk at Dromoland Castle, and enjoy high tea there. Then we’ll make our way to the Carrigerry House in Shannon. A peaceful spot that offers an Irish supper by the fire. (but you may not even be hungry after that High Tea at Dromoland Castle)

  • Day 7: After breakfast we’ll head to Liscarroll and Ireland’s Donkey sanctuary. And on our way to Blarney, we’ll stop and tour Ireland’s only Water Buffalo farm in Macroom. And we’ll end up in the village of Blarney.

  • Day 8: We will be staying within walking distance of the Blarney Castle so you can be there as they open. The line to kiss the Blarney Stone gets long…so early is best for that. But the grounds around the castle as as amazing as the castle itself. Once you’ve worn yourselves out, we’ll take a ride into Cork and visit the English Market for lunch and we’ll end up in the seaside village of Cobh.

  • Day 9: You can enjoy a day to yourselves to explore Cobh. There’s so much to see including museums, a wonderful cathedral, colourful landscapes and their Heritage Center.

  • Day 10: It will be a day of driving as we make our way back toward Dublin. We’ll make a stop at the Rock of Cashell…and spend our last night at Clontarf Castle. And we’ll celebrate with a farewell dinner. And be a 15 minute taxi ride to the airport for departures.

  • Day 11: Fly home.
